Poteau Panel
Shop, Inc. (PPSI) manufactures custom UL508A industrial control panels used in a
variety of applications including commercial building HVAC control, security
monitoring, lighting control, motor control, and process control, for customers
nationwide. PPSI is also the manufacturing location for Versa-Cab TM, a UL Listed Type 1
enclosure of extruded aluminum frame construction with removable front and back
panels. (Versa-Cab is a direct replacement for the Johnson Controls M8100
cabinet, view information here).
We also can provide custom engraved tags, legend plates, and graphic panels.
PPSI formed as an independent
company in May 2001 utilizing the best workers out of a highly skilled
workforce who were impacted by the closing of the Johnson Controls Panel
Facility in Poteau, Oklahoma, which had been moved to Reynosa, Mexico.
Our available
workforce has over 200 years combined experience in building custom and
repetitive control panels for nearly 150 Johnson Controls branch offices
worldwide, in addition to several other customers including Carrier, Trane,
Lennox, McQuay, and many independent contractors
including Johnson Controls ABCS's. 
PPSI is a UL 508A Panel Shop,
under UL’s Industrial Control Panel (ICP) Custom Builder Program. We're
also a union shop (IBEW - electrical, UA - pneumatic) and will apply union
labels if required.
We have a large
supplier base and can perform electrical wiring and/or pneumatic piping to your
specifications, using customer supplied material and/or acquiring the materials
and components for you. From a single panel order to multiple quantities, small
wall mounted panels to large free standing enclosures. No job is too large or
too small.
